After the past few weeks being VERY cold, we are starting to see a heat wave come through up here in Babbitt, MN.
This whole week is projected to have highs in the 20’s. However, they do not take into consideration the wind blowing off of the lake. But, we are still happy to have a high above zero. As long as the sun is shining and the pines are taking most of the wind, it is a fabulous time to be in the outdoors.
We wish you all a happy, hopeful, end to the coldest months. And we look forwarded to having you here with us when the temperature is MUCH warmer!
In February it shouldn’t be “Post” worthy, but this year it is!! We are currently under a Winter Weather Advisory.
Although we have more snow than many parts of Minnesota, we look forward to the chance of getting up to 5 or 6 inches.
As I write this, the flakes are just beginning to fall. And it’s really pretty.
And it’s Ely Winter Fest time too! The Ice sculptures are my personal favorite. But there are many activities to enjoy.
